From November 11th to 12th, the 1st Agricultural Film Technology Exchange Conference, co-hosted by the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Film Application of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Film of China National Light Industry Council, was grandly held in Chongqing, the beautiful mountain city.
Tian Yan, Vice Chairman of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, Professor Mi Qinghua, expert in scientific film application of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Professor Xu Jing, Director of both the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Film Application of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Film of China National Light Industry Council, were among the distinguished attendees.
Professor Zhang Lili, Secretary-General of the Conference Presidium, presided over the opening ceremony. Wei Zibin, Rotating Chairman of the Chongqing Plastics Industry Association and Chairman of Sichuan Aocai New Material Technology Co., Ltd., and Professor Xu Jing, Director of the Key Laboratories, delivered respective speeches. They extended a warm welcome to the leaders and experts in the agricultural film industry from across the country, expressed the hope that participants could gain cutting-edge theories and practical experience in agricultural film, and anticipated that the conference would evolve into a high-end academic summit with significant influence and outreach in the industry.
At the opening ceremony, Director Xu Jing also introduced the basic situation of the key laboratory and the construction ideas for the "14th Five-Year Plan" period. Vice Chairman Tian Yan gave an invited report entitled "Plastic Recycling and Agricultural Films". Professor Mi Qinghua introduced the current application status of agricultural mulch films, and put forward scientific usage suggestions regarding the future development trend of mulch films.
In the technical exchange session, Researcher Zhou Changji from the Academy of Agricultural and Rural Planning and Design, Senior Engineer Qin Lijie, a technical expert from the Key Laboratory of Agricultural Film Application of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Professor Lian Shixun from Hunan Normal University, as well as 22 industry experts from enterprises such as ExxonMobil Chemical Business (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., BASF (China) Co., Ltd., and Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd., respectively gave keynote reports, sharing the latest progress in agricultural film resins, weather-resistant additives, anti-fogging technology, light conversion technology, hardware production equipment and other aspects.
During the conference, the participating representatives also visited the Aocai New Materials Neijiang Base in Sichuan for inspection and exchange, observed the enterprise's automated production and laboratory research and development scenes at close range, and focused on understanding the enterprise's technological exploration in the field of functional agricultural film materials and its development achievements in the color masterbatch industry.
This conference, serving as a "strategic empowerment initiative" during the critical period of industrial transformation, comprehensively analyzed the current situation of the agricultural film industry, looked ahead to future trends, built consensus on development, and clarified innovation paths. It has injected core momentum into the agricultural film industry to cope with new challenges and open up new prospects in the new era. Participants at the conference expressed that they will take this grand event as an opportunity to promote industrial innovation through technical exchanges, jointly drive the agricultural film industry towards greenization, high-endization, and intelligentization, and contribute to shaping a new pattern of industry development.
It is reported that this conference was hosted by Beijing Zhongke Junrong Technology Co., Ltd., with strong support from many units such as Beijing Tiangang Additives Co., Ltd., ExxonMobil Chemical Business (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shandong Zhongyi Rubber & Plastic Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Luju Polymer Technology Co., Ltd.
