杰弗瑞沃特豪斯博士,2003年毕业于奥克兰大学,获化学博士学位,现任新西兰麦克德尔米德先进材料与纳米技术研究院的首席研究员,Dodd Walls光子和量子技术中心副研究员,奥克兰大学化学科学学院高级讲师,华南理工大学材料科学与工程学科特聘教授,日本德岛大学的客座专家,中国科学院国际人才计划“国际研究员”,澳大利亚卓越科研中心理事会对申请资金全部提案的评定人等。一直致力于先进能源材料的研究工作,尤其在纳米材料合成、太阳能采集、催化、光催化、光学传感器及药物输送装置的光子晶体性能等方面深入研究。
