Research

The College of Chemistry and Material Science pays attention to basic research and practical applications. With developing interdisciplinary initiative and seriously condensing the direction of scientific research, we have achieved gratifying successes and our college is at the forefront of the emerging colleges of our university. In recent years, we have received 6 National Natural Science funds, 3 sub-projects of National “863” funds, 9 Natural Sciences, Education Department, and Young and Middle-aged Scientist award funds at provincial level, and other 34 projects (including horizontal topics). Research funding is more than 3.5 million dollars. 5 patents were patented. 5 research products have been registered or identified through the Ministry of agriculture. Over 426 research peer reviewed papers have been published in the center journals of home and aboard. 180 papers were catalogued in the index of science citation (SCI) and engineering (EI). Since 2009, the impact factor of the paper broke through 5.
